It took me roughly 1 year to finally find a good deal for a Leica M6. Thanks to Fotomax, the great Store in Nuremberg, I was able to pick up one last week. It’s a M6 from 1985, fully checked and serviced, with a 1 year guarantee.
As a next step I had to revive my film processing, buy expired chemistry and clean up the space in the basement again. My Ilfosol-3 was still good, although longterm I’ll move either to Kodak D76 or Ilford ID11 (because cheaper).
Dont’t need to say a lot about the M6, the handling is so smooth, it’s a pleasure to work with. Here are a few frames, shot on an Ilford HP5 and processed at home:
